Shipping

Each piece at The Timber Collective is handcrafted in small batches or made to order. Because of the nature of handmade production, shipping timelines differ from mass-manufactured products.

1. Processing Time (Production Time)

Most of our products are made after you place an order.

Estimated production timelines:

  • Small objects & serving boards: 3–7 working days

  • Medium pieces (shelves, decor items): 7–14 working days

  • Furniture & large pieces: 14–28 working days

  • Custom / engraved orders: depends on complexity (confirmed during order)

Production time does not include shipping transit time.


2. Shipping Time

After dispatch, delivery typically takes:

  • North India: 2–5 working days

  • Rest of India: 4–8 working days

  • Remote locations: 5–12 working days

Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to courier operations, weather, or regional restrictions.


3. Shipping Charges

  • Shipping is calculated at checkout based on product size and delivery location

  • Large furniture items may require special handling charges

  • Any installation or handling fee (if applicable) will be communicated beforehand


4. Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive:

  • Tracking ID

  • Courier partner details

Tracking becomes active within 12–24 hours of dispatch.


5. Delivery Requirements

The customer must ensure:

  • Accurate address and contact number

  • Someone available to receive the parcel

  • Adequate entry space for large furniture items

Re-delivery charges may apply if delivery fails due to customer unavailability.


6. Damage During Transit

If your order arrives damaged:

  1. Record an unboxing video before opening completely

  2. Take clear photos of packaging and product

  3. Contact us within 48 hours

Claims without an unboxing video may not be approved.

Please do not discard the packaging until the claim is resolved.


7. Delays

Delays may occur due to:

  • Natural material curing time

  • High order volume

  • Courier disruptions

  • Weather conditions

We will keep you informed if timelines significantly change.


8. Incorrect Address

Orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer cannot be refunded.
Re-shipping charges will apply.


9. International Shipping

Currently, we ship within India only.
